I completed my Photography diploma at the Stellenbosch Institute for Photography & Multimedia Studies in 2004. Thereafter I started to study Management where I obtained my Degree in 2009. In that time, I worked full time and studied part-time which left me with no time to do photography.
After completing my studies in 2009, I decided to get a bit more creative again, as I really missed having lots of fun behind the camera. I obtained a Wedding Workshop in 2010 to refresh my skills and to get the ropes on digital photography, as I worked with film back in the days. I then started to do wedding, couple, engagement, baby shower photography, etc. I am currently doing photography on a part-time basis, but I would love to do it full-time once my business expanded.
Photography has been my passion since I was 15 years old. I see myself as an artistic person. I love painting, writing poems and going to art exhibitions and doing modelling from time to time. It gives me the feel to be on both sides of the camera. I also like spending time in nature, as I grew up on a farm in the Free State. I like to take my camera along wherever I go, as you never know when you see something interesting to photograph, things you sometimes don't notice with the eye. What makes me happy is to be able to create beautiful images that touch other people’s lives.. it keeps me inspired. I am based in Tygervalley, Cape Town and I am willing to travel within the Western Cape region for weddings and other photo shoots. I have packages structured to meet everybody’s needs and I prefer to meet with you personally in order to establish exactly what you want out of your images.
